Bust 36 ½ DD

Favorite foods: My favorite food is sushi and egg white omelets with avocado.
For cheat foods, I enjoy Mexican food and the occasional krispy crème
donut.
Diet:
I tend not to stray away far from my on season diet. I know myself and this
is something that is incredibly important! I have never been naturally thin,
so not sticking with my strict regimen can be harmful for me. I work very
hard at keeping my body at an optimum weight. So please do not think that
this comes easy to me. When I am not getting ready for a competition or shoot,
I allow myself one cheat meal a week. That helps to keep me sane.
Here is a typical day in my world. In looking at this meal plan,
you can see that the portion sizes change depending on how close I am to and
up coming event. Closer I get, the smaller the portions and I then eliminate
my cheat meal and usually fruit/sugar carbohydrates from my diet.
BREAKFAST: 2-6 egg whites, ¼ - 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup Special K cereal, or an egg white omelets with avocado.
LUNCH: 2 -4 oz of chicken or ground turkey, and ¼ to ½ cup of whole grain rice.
DINNER: 4 - 6 oz of white fish, chicken, tofu or 1 veggie patty, and 1-2 cups of vegetables. I like to have green beans, broccoli or any kind of bell pepper.
SNACK: Usually for a snack I will have 1-2 scoops of whey protein 2x daily with ½ a banana in each shake. Mix this only with water.

I was raised
in L. A., California. I am what you would call, a true valley girl. I moved
to Orange County in 1990 to pursue a career in nursing. With that I also began
a career in personal training and women's health. I have been working in the
field of nursing, personal training and women's health advisory for some 14
years now. I enjoy working with women to help them in this journey of becoming
healthy, strong, and to reach the potential that lies inside of us all. I
believe that this way of life has been in my blood since birth. I had always
been an active kid, although a bit chubby. So when I hit the teen years, I
began running and going to the gym because I was so intrigued by women that
had muscle, looked strong, yet also had a very sexy physique. At that time,
none of the girls my age even cared at all about stepping foot into a gym,
let alone run down the street! It was then that I knew there was something
inside of me that wanted more for myself. I idolized women in the industry
like, Cory Everson and Kiana Tom. I watched all of their shows on TV and tried
every move at the gym in order to look just like them. So if you ask have
I always been this way? Yes, I absolutely love this crazy world of muscles,
eating healthy and maintaining a strong body. Who wouldn't? It takes much
dedication and hard work to be healthy, but everything in life that is good
takes time and work. The competing and modeling are just an added plus to
show off my hard work, but I live like this every day and teach women each
and every day that they too can also have the great feeling I do when I get
up in the morning. A healthy body leads to a healthy mind, a good attitude,
an undeniable self-confidence, and a long life with the energy and strength
to keep up with daily living. There are many rewards along the road of this
journey, but I feel that it is all worth it. In my nursing, I see many women
of all ages and I know that I want to be that women who never sees a wheelchair
or has to have someone else take care of me because I was too lazy to work
on my health throughout the years! QUANTITY OF LIFE IS NO GOOD WITHOUT QUALITY.
I also have a family and 2 gorgeous boys, whom are also active. We spend a
lot of time as a family, playing sports and maintaining and active lifestyle.
If I show my boys how to stay healthy and strong I can only hope that this
will make their lives more fulfilling. They are my strength and I do this
for all of us. I can't help but to be my best for them always. I teach them
to climb every mountain and to "NEVER SAY CAN'T."
I am currently working on my master's degree as a Nurse Practitioner full
time and continuing my career in the fitness industry. So you will see me
around for years to come. Hold on and enjoy the ride!
